An intimate affair with a touch of vintage class was the vision
Aine McCoy and Raymond Walsh had for their winter wedding.
Their romantic story begins in Newcastle West, where they
grew up and later became childhood sweethearts. Aine and
Raymond moved to Canada together and have been living
and working in Saskatoon for two years. On a visit home
together in 2014, Raymond gave Aine the gift of a lifetime by
asking her to marry him on Christmas Eve. Aine said yes and
the proposal began a journey of planning that would see the
couple come home to county Limerick to tie the knot. The
wedding date was set for New Year’s Day, 2016, in Carrigkerry
Church Co. Limerick followed by the reception in Ballyseede
Castle Tralee, Co. Kerry.
